What's in Store in St. Louis

On Monday, I posted a graphic depicting the design of the new home jersey the St. Louis Blues have on the way. Today we're looking at a couple of concept artists' interpretations of what the white road version make look like.

We start with Nick Burton who seems to have pretty much nailed it. The only thing he's missing is the hanger effect design on the collar.

That's where Thierry Dick comes in. He shares not only his take on a road jersey but also his ideal set of Blues sweaters. But I have to be honest when I say those feel a little more Buffalo than St. Louis to me. Though it is a fine line given the similar color palettes.

This last design from newcomer Justin Evans was sent in prior to Monday's post but I thought you might like to see it just the same. This is the Blues jersey he'd like to see.

Original Six Showdown, Part 2

The Blackhawks and Rangers are featured in the second part of Nick Burton's 3-part Throwback Thursday miniseries. What would you think of the Hawks wearing something like this to the 2015 Winter Classic in D.C. next season?

Original Six Showdown, Part 1

Another Thursday throwback miniseries debuts today from Nick Burton. His 3-part Original Six Showdown features some excellent designs inspired by the past. Up first are the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens. (Use the arrows to switch between the two concepts.)

Striking

One of the ways I like to celebrate my birthday every year is with a special concept — a personal favorite for my favorite team. This year, Nick Burton submitted a rather striking third jersey idea for the Bolts. Normally I can't stand a gradient on a hockey sweater. But I think I'd make an exception here. What about you?

By the way, I know we were supposed to wrap up Brendan Hennessy's Throwback Thursday series today, but look for that next week instead.

Panther Tradition

Nick Burton offers up a more traditional look for the Florida Panthers today. It makes great use of the club's full color palette. What do you think?
