Friday on the Island

The thing about this particular Freak Out Friday is I don't really find it all that freaky. John Elbertson has made great use of the Islanders' great colors — even historical ones. I'm not saying I want to see them ever make it a full time uniform set, but it's interesting.

Ducks Redone

We're now deep into May and this is the first time the Anaheim Ducks have been featured this year. (Granted, I was away for the first three months, but still.) Anthony Cinerari reinvents the club's uniforms with a retro twist.

Revising the Third

Navy blue seems to be the accidental theme of the week. We'll rectify that tomorrow, but in the meantime check out this third jersey overhaul by Jacob Lazare. Maybe something the Blues could sport next season?

Union Inspiration

Justin Brolley was inspired by the Union soldiers' Civil War uniform when he draped a sash stripe across the front. What do you think? Too much?

21st Century Rangers

Something about this New York Rangers concept feels retro yet futuristic at the same time — like someone from the '70s tried to imagine what the team would like like in 50 years. I think it looks great and if the Columbus Blue Jackets didn't exist, I'd say they should wear it. What about you?
