A New York Oddity

I've been staring at them for a while but I'm not quite sure what to make of these New York Rangers jerseys from Ryan Christensen. This submission has been collecting dust in the vault since June 2016 — Ryan's a very prolific artist!

He submitted them with no comment. Here's what I've decided. They're from an alternate universe. One in which Original Six teams like the Rangers wear "vintage white" every night — save for that rare third jersey occasion when they "clean up" and sneak in some real white. I don't know. What do you make of them?

Handmade Golden Knights

The ever-talented Morgan Edwards is back with us today to offer a sharp upgrade to the Vegas Golden Knights. Morgan writes: "I think their current set needs a little more red to make things cohesive.  Replaced the coloured shoulder areas with more traditional cuffs."

Bolt Basics

Oh, how I've missed getting contributions from Nick Burton. His new concept for the Tampa Bay Lightning is exactly what the Bolts need. It's a great way to re-incorporate black and make them look a little less like the Leafs.

Pirates or Penguins

Last Sunday we looked at a hockey sweater inspired by a baseball team. This week we get another. Anthony Cinerari imagines a Pittsburgh Pirates jersey. But the crazy thing is it could actually be a great Stadium Series-type jersey for the Penguins!

Seattle Totems

Christian Legault returns with a new concept for a certain future NHL expansion team — the Seattle Totems. I'll be honest: I'm not a fan of the name. But the overall look isn't bad at all.
