Adidas takes its first stab at hockey uniforms next fall with the return of the World Cup of Hockey. Jon Cardner puts forth his take on what those uniforms might look like.
Over the All-Star break, the NHL announced the return of the World Cup of Hockey in 2016. Eight teams will participate, but only six nations will have their own teams. The other two will be mixed. Team Europe will be comprised of European-born players not from Finland, Sweden or the Czech Republic. The North American Youngstars team will take advantage of players under the age of 24.
And that brings us to today's concept from Adam Del Monte — uniform designs for the two mixed teams that will participate at the World Cup of Hockey.
