Big news this week as Seattle approved construction of a new(ish) arena that could potentially house an NHL franchise by the 2020-21 season. So I dug up this unpublished concept from Pat Westin from a few years ago.

Dylan Alexander and Matt McElroy collaborated on this complete branding package for a Seattle expansion team named the Sea Lions.
This Seattle Emeralds concept is in no way related to the one from last Sunday, so it's just a coincidence that Norway's Andrés Godoe has used the same name. Andrés says he came up with this design for a simulation hockey league.
