In honor of my new Australian co-worker, I've got a special post today. Duncan Lyle has given every team in the Australian Football League the hockey sweater treatment. A few years ago, I posted a couple of them. Today, you can see all 18 designs!
As promised, No-Hockey Week continues today with the sport of football. But it isn't the American gridiron these teams play on. Duncan Lyle has designed hockey jerseys for members of the Australian football league. Above, it's the Geelong Cats, and below, the Fremantle Dockers.
You'll note Duncan has included the teams' existing uniforms to compare to his hockey sweaters. By the way, there's more where this came from. Duncan actually designed jerseys for nine AFL teams and if you guys are interested in seeing the rest, I'd be happy to get them on the site in the future.
