NHL Awards will include expansion draft results

Earlier this week the NHL announced that the results of the Vegas Golden Knights expansion draft will be revealed during the 2017 NHL Awards in Las Vegas on Wed., June 21.

There's also an official expansion draft logo, as seen above. It's based on the standard entry draft logo system, but it's poorly designed with that mess going on around the word "expansion" — yeesh. Though I do like the use of the Vegas 8-pointed stars, mimicking the Chicago draft logo's use of the 6-pointed stars from the city flag.

The lists of protected and exposed players eligible in the expansion draft will be announced on Sat., June 17. The Golden Knights then have until Tues., June 20 to submit their selections to the league. They'll be announced to the world the following night.
