At this point in the season, it's probably safe to say the rumored Stadium Series game between the Bruins and Canadiens isn't happening. Have to figure it would've been announced by now. But had it happened, these are the jerseys Nick Burton was hoping for.
I know, redundant title up there. Anyway, Nick Burton wanted to give us a clearer picture of what the Vancouver Canucks might've looked like had they approved the prototype jersey we saw a few weeks ago. Scary stuff, friends.
On this Outdoor Saturday, Nick Burton thinks the Chicago Blackhawks should wear this for the 2015 NHL Winter Classic in Washington, D.C. He's also recommending some tweaks to the Capitals' jersey.

Before the Flames moved north, Calgary was home to the Cowboys. If they'd survived, where might Atlanta's former team have moved in 1980?
And finally, you knew we'd have to end up here — the New England Whalers. They did survive the WHA's merge with the NHL, but were renamed the Hartford Whalers. If the team never moved to North Carolina, imagine what they might've looked like in their original colors.

Looks like they would've had the same black-and-white fate as another one of Gretzky's teams, the L.A. Kings. It kind of works.
How about this timeless look for the Minnesota Fighting Saints? Though I'm sure that logo would've been updated sometime in the last four decades.
