Nordiques Revival, Part 2

We know the Nordiques, had stayed in Quebec, they would've changed their logo and uniforms in 1996. But as we saw with many teams that were redesigned in the '90s, the Nords probably would've found their way back by now.

Jamie Robertson designed these jersey and wrote up an alternative history:

This is what the Nordiques would have looked like today if they had never moved to Colorado — but everything else that happened remained the same.
They would go on to wearing the wolf logo in 1996-97 and would wear them for only a few years. They would then bring back the igloo and stick logo with a different jersey and a darker colour scheme, much like the Islanders and the Oilers did at the time.
This is a set depicting them in the reebok edge era. The light blue as a third sticking with the trend of other teams and then the Heritage Classic jersey that they would wear in 2011 as their existence and rivalry with the Canadiens caused for the game to be held in Montreal's Molson Memorial Stadium.

If only, right?

Winter Under the Arch

For this week's Outdoor Saturday concept, we turn to Jamie Robertson who envisions the 2016 NHL Winter Classic in Missouri between the Blues and Predators. Can't imagine the red will go over well with this crowd, but I thought this was a creative set nonetheless..

0596: Winter in Denver

We recently learned that Washington, D.C. will play host to the 2015 NHL Winter Classic. But before we knew that, Jamie Robertson imagined Denver hosting a game between the Avalanche and Wild. So it won't be 2015, but maybe somewhere down the road? It has the potential to be a great-looking game.

0574: Stadium Threads, Chicago

The presentation may leave a little to be desired, but take a look at the actual designs. Jamie Robertson's proposal for the Chicago-based Stadium Series game is kind of interesting. (Though I know at least one Penguins fan who's about to go off in the comments!) What I find interesting is the looks from two completely different eras — not to mention a Hawks jersey that's out of thin air. This one may be a little out there but it certainly caught my eye.
