Condors reveal new AHL jersey designs
The Bakersfield Condors — new west coast AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers — officially unveiled their uniforms for next season on Wednesday.
The new look was shared all over the team's Facebook and Twitter channels.
As a member of the ECHL, the Condors were known for their unique style and jersey designs. As they join the AHL, they will look quite familiar. Their sweaters are almost identical to Edmonton's.
The one new element of the uniforms is the shoulder patch — an orange oil drop borrowed from the Oilers' own logo clutched by the talon of a condor. It's a cool design that ties the two franchises together well.
I'm assuming most of you will dislike the sweaters since they aren't original designs, but that is the trend of late — AHL clubs adopting their NHL counterpart's uniform design.
That said, as copycat jerseys go, what do you think of this one? Yay or nay?
