Coyotes to unveil new uniforms on draft day
The only NHL team expected to change its primary uniforms for the 2015-16 season will show them off to fans later this month.
On Monday, the Arizona Coyotes announced their new home and road sweaters will be unveiled on Fri., June 26 during their draft day party at Gila River Arena.
The NHL Draft will take place on June 26-27 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla., home of the Panthers. Presumably we'll see the jersey revealed in Glendale prior to it being given to the third overall pick, owned by the Coyotes.
On the day of last year's draft, the Coyotes took the opportunity to change their name from Phoenix to Arizona and unveil a new shoulder patch design.
While the primary logo is not expected to change, new secondary marks could be incorporated into the new jerseys.
As a reminder, here's a look at the uniforms worn by the Coyotes this past season.
